The aim of the present work was to know and complete the state of immunization against the hepatitis B virus (HBV) in the personnel of a hospital laboratory. Twenty-five male and female workers, aged 29 to 60 years old, participated in the study. Anti-HBV antibodies were determined by chemiluminescent enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, considering a protective titer of> 10 mIU / ml. In the initial evaluation, twenty-four individuals received the 3 doses (43.6% of the total), twenty of whom (36.4% of the total) already had protective antibody. Twenty-six individuals received 1 or 2 doses while five workers had never been vaccinated. Twenty-three workers in the first group, and three in the second group completed the scheme. Five workers had not ever received the vaccine while three had completed the scheme. At the end of the intervention, fifty workers (91%) presented a complete vaccination scheme and forty-seven (85%) a complete scheme and protective levels of antibodies. Better compliance was observed in women than in men. It is relevant to mention the difficulty to raise awareness among the staff about the importance of vaccination. nos augait lor sequiscinci bla feu feui esendre core magnis adiat, con hendigna commodolent wisci elit eugait.
