Asesinatos espectaculares, muertes condicionadas y velorios masivos, en Córdoba, Argentina, en la década de los 70

Abstract

Este artículo surge a partir de indagar etnográficamente en torno a los cadáveres de personas asesinadas por motivos políticos en los 70 en Córdoba, centrándome en el modo de construcción del “otro” como el “enemigo” a partir de las prácticas al momento del deceso, referidas tanto a su “eliminación” física, como a la escritura en torno a estos. Me interesa mostrar cómo estas prácticas fueron “traducidas” en los periódicos de la época, en Córdoba, a partir de considerar una serie de asesinatos “espectaculares”, velorios masivos y muertes condicionadas, producidas por el accionar de las fuerzas represivas intentando responder a las siguientes preguntas: ¿De qué modos se mataba a personas vinculadas a tradiciones de militancia política en los 70 en Argentina? ¿Quiénes fueron esos muertos que llegaron a constituirse como “emblemáticos”, mediante procesos de “consagración”? ¿Qué rituales se configuraron en torno a esos muertos?.

This article arises from ethnographically investigating the corpses of people murdered for political reasons in the 70s in Córdoba, focusing on the way of constructing the “other” as the “enemy” based on the practices at the time of death. referring both to their physical “elimination” and to the writing around them. I am interested in showing how these practices were “translated” in the newspapers of the time, in Córdoba, from considering a series of “spectacular” murders, massive wakes and conditioned deaths, produced by the actions of the repressive forces trying to respond to the following questions: In what ways were people linked to traditions of political militancy killed in the 70s in Argentina? Who were those dead that became “emblematic” through processes of “consecration”? What rituals were configured around those dead?.
