En el siguiente artículo se aborda la relación entre el patrimonio y la cronotopía, un concepto que une el tiempo (cronos) y el lugar (topos). La cronotopía puede entrelazarse con el uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) para reinterpretar la relación entre lo urbano y el patrimonio cultural ya que es esencial para entender cómo los elementos patrimoniales evolucionan, se preservan a lo largo del tiempo y en diferentes contextos, como la arquitectura y la gestión del patrimonio. Las TIC han transformado nuestra relación con el tiempo y el espacio, permitiendo explorar bienes patrimoniales sin viajar. La integración del cronotopo en la planificación urbana y la preservación del patrimonio es crucial para garantizar que las futuras generaciones puedan disfrutar y aprender de los tesoros culturales que heredamos.

The following article addresses the relationship between heritage and chronotopia, a concept that unites time (chronos) and place (topos). Chronotopia can be intertwined with the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to reinterpret the relationship between urban environments and cultural heritage sites, as it is essential to understanding how heritage elements evolve and are preserved over time and in different contexts, such as architecture and heritage management. ICTs have transformed our relationship with time and space, allowing us to explore heritage assets without traveling. Integrating chronotope into urban planning and heritage preservation is crucial to ensuring that future generations can enjoy and learn from the cultural treasures we inherit.
