| dc.description.abstract | This article describes the emergence of Project Management as a discipline and its transformation into a methodology. The article describes as a project its mechanisms of implementing changes in a structured and controlled manner, and the Project Manager the agent who performs the transformation in the Organizations. This article, relates the foundation in 1969, of the PMI - Project Management Institute, an entity that gets together professionals and organizations in activities of the Project Management area.
