Urban noise levels are one of the problems identified by WHO as a priority. The aim of this work was to elaborate a noise map for avenues of the primary road system of Posadas’s city. Sound level measurements of 15 minutes, in representative points and time gap, with A compensation, "Fast" temporal response and 1/3 octave band filter, were made. According to current legislation, at least 77.8% of the studied area would require frequent monitoring and 11.1% the adoption of immediate corrective actions. Moreover, correlation between the number of vehicles and the sound levels were found.
