Categorías cognitivas con valor transdisciplinario en la investigación social y humana. Su necesaria vigilancia epistémica

Abstract

Este ensayo aborda como tema central las categorías aplicadas en la investiga- ción en ciencias sociales y humanas. Se examina críticamente su fundamento onto- lógico-semántico, su valor cognitivo y sus alcances transdisciplinarios. Asimismo, se identifican aspectos críticos e inconsistencias en la investigación en estos campos, planteando ideas generales para superar las falencias lógico-metodológicas que se detectan en las investigaciones concretas. El propósito es abrir la reflexión mediante disparadores crítico-constructivos, que se van articulando en el movimiento de las ideas, en un espiral dialéctico que pone en tensión las herencias del pensamiento y las creencias decantadas en las tradiciones investigativas con las exigencias que instala el modo científico del conocer. El fin es vislumbrar un camino para superar constructos equívocos y falsas dicotomías que mantienen entrampado al desarrollo de la ciencia social y humana.

This essay addresses as a central theme the categories applied in research in the social and human sciences. Its ontological-semantic foundation, its cognitive value and its transdisciplinary scope are critically examined. Likewise, critical aspects and inconsistencies in the research in these fields are identified, raising general ideas to overcome the logical-methodological flaws that are detected in the specific investigations. The purpose is to open the reflection through critical-constructive triggers, which are articulated in the movement of ideas, in a dialectical spiral that puts in tension the inheritances of thought and decanted beliefs in investigative traditions with the demands established by the "scientific" way of "knowing". The aim is to envision a way to overcome equivocal constructs and false dichoto- mies that keep the development of social and human science trapped.
