Evaluación de la gestión de riesgo a partir de un índice agregado : aplicación en un caso de estudio en Cuba

Abstract

Las organizaciones aspiran a obtener resultados positivos a largo plazo al gestionar adecuadamente sus riesgos, con teniendo en cuenta los estándares internacionales y el marco nacional regulatorio vigente. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo proponer un Índice de Gestión de Riesgo (IGR) que permita identificar el nivel de éxito con que se gestiona el riesgo y los elementos que vulneran a la organización. El artículo incluye la selección de las dimensiones más representativas para la elaboración del Índice de Gestión de Riesgo y su evaluación a través de una escala de valoración ordinal y según el valor obtenido en cada dimensión. En el desarrollo de la investigación se utilizaron varias herramientas como trabajo en grupo, entrevistas, consulta de documentos, método de ordenamiento simple, método de expertos las cuales le ofrecen soporte científico a la investigación. Como resultado de la implantación en el destino turístico cubano Cayos de Villa Clara, se obtuvo que el Nivel de gestión de Riesgo en el destino estudiado fue evaluado de bien.

Organizations aspire to obtain positive results at large by properly managing their resources, maintaining international standards and the national regulatory framework. This investigation has the objective of proposing a Risk Management Index (RMI) that allows us to identify the level of demand with which the resources and elements that are vulnerable to the organization are managed. The article includes the selection of the most representative dimensions for the development of the Risk Management Index and its evaluation using an ordinal valuation scale and the value obtained in each dimension. When starting the investigation, we use a variety of tool such as group work, interviews, document consultations, simple ordering methods, and expert methods that provide scientific support for the investigation. As a result of the implantation in the Cuban tourist destination Cayos de Villa Clara, it was found that the level of Risk Management in the designed destination was evaluated as good.
