Fuera de foco, fuera del campo : huellas históricas y aperturas afectivas en dos investigaciones etnográficas

Abstract

A partir de las metáforas cinematográficas del “fuera de foco” y del “fuera de campo”, este artículo propone una reflexión conjunta por parte de dos investigadores/as en formación respecto a las huellas históricas que conforman los dispositivos metodológicos en sus respectivas investigaciones doctorales, así como respecto a la posibilidad de otras formas de producción de conocimiento. Para ello, se propone una reconstitución etnográfica cruzada, un experimento escritural a cuatro manos en torno a viñetas extraídas de las experiencias de trabajo de campo de cada una/o, desarrolladas en contextos nacionales y con intereses distintos. En particular, se enfocan distintos aspectos del “fuera de campo” / “fuera de foco”: por un lado, los lugares de enunciación y la colonialidad de las técnicas de investigación y, por otro, las sensaciones, los sentimientos y los afectos. El texto concluye reivindicando la indisciplina como posibilidad de abrir nuevas formas de construcción de conocimiento.

Based on the cinematographic metaphors of “out of focus” and “out of field”, this article proposes a joint reflection by two researchers in training regarding the historical traces that make up the methodological devices in their respective doctoral research projects, as well as the possibility of other forms of knowled-ge production. To this end, a reciprocal ethnographic reconstitution is proposed, a four-handed writing experiment around ethnographic vignettes taken from the fieldwork experience of each one of the authors, developed in different national contexts and with different research interests. Particularly, the article focuses on different aspects of the “out of field” / “out of focus”: on the one hand, the locus of enunciation and the coloniality of the research techniques and, on the other hand, the sensations, feelings and affects. The text concludes by vindicating indiscipline as a possibility for opening up new forms of knowledge construction.
