Los “hilos de contar” : enredos entre infancia, objetos y familias en las memorias del exilio conosureño

Abstract

En este trabajo procuro explorar las memorias de infancia de quienes experimentaron el exilio de las últimas dictaduras de Argentina (1976-1983) y Uruguay (1973-1985). Desde una perspectiva biográfica y entrevistas en profundidad, indago en los modos en que se entrelazan objetos y afectos en las memorias de quienes eran niños y niñas por entonces. A partir del análisis de los objetos cotidianos disponibles para sostener la comunicación, este artículo se propone comprender la labor de sostener el vínculo afectivo con las familias y seres queridos. En particular me intereso por los objetos cotidianos vinculados a la dimensión sonora, como el casete y el teléfono. Así, los “hilos” recordados permiten profundizar en la relación entre la dimensión material de las memorias y su espesura afectiva en la tarea de sostener las pertenencias.

In this paper I seek to explore the childhood memories of those who experienced the exile of the last dictatorships in Argentina (1976-1983) and Uruguay (1973-1985). From a biographical perspective and my own interviews, I investigate the ways in which objects and affects are intertwined in the memories of the children of that time. From the analysis of the everyday objects available for communication that are remembered, this article attempts to understand the work of sustaining communication and the affective bond with families from the diaspora of exile. In particular, I am interested in everyday objects linked to the sound dimension, such as the cassette and the telephone. Thus, the "threads" remembered allow me to deepen the relationship between the material dimension and memory, revealing the affective thickness of the work of sustaining belongings, in a singular experience such as that of exile.
